Kamala Harris was elected to the US Senate as a Democrat in 2016. She was the first Native American to serve and the second African American woman to serve the USA.
She worked as an assistant district attorney in Oakland and earned her name by showing success like gang violence, illegal use etc.
She wrote Harris's book Smart on Crime and added success to her success.
And she continues her career succesfuly.
