Makeup Guide For Beginners: A Step-by-Step Makeup Routine
If you just want to start doing makeup but don’t know where to, don’t worry we’re here to help you! While most people can enjoy makeup and apply it on their faces respectively, you may worry about not knowing what to apply and how. Everything has a beginning. Let’s have a look at some helpful tips together!
First, clean your skin.
Wash your face well with a gentle cleanser or simply use a toner to get rid of any impurities on your skin.
Apply a light moisturizer.
Before you begin applying your makeup, prepare your skin with a moisturizer. This step is important to make your skin look smoother with makeup and it will keep your skin from getting too oily during the day. Wait for like five minutes before putting on foundation, so that the moisturizer can sink in.
First, check our foundation tips blog, then gently apply the foundation that suits you best. Putting small dots with your fingers to your forehead, cheeks, nose, and chin is a good start. Then apply it over your face with the help of a brush or sponge.
Put a little concealer under your eyes.
Apply concealer, which should be slightly lighter than your own skin, under your eyes with a little brush.
For a simple makeup routine, you can try soft tones like nude shades as eyeshadow. Use a flat and small shadow brush or your finger and make quick, short swipes across the lid.
Curl your lashes.
Place a lash curler at the base of your upper eyelashes and press it for a few seconds.
After lifting your eyelashes, the mascara will be more noticeable. Apply to your lash starting from the very bottom to the tip. You can also gently apply to your lower lashes.
Apply blush to your cheeks.
To highlight your cheekbones, smile, and apply powder to your cheeks using a brush.
Pick a lipstick in the shade you want and apply it to the center of your lips first, then open and close your lips to make it spread.
Finish your makeup with a matte setting spray to don't think if your makeup is broken all day long.
